My name is Raven and I am a freelance artist from Western Canada. My favorite things to illustrate are anthro animals, dragons, and other funky critters. I love themes of nature, astronomy & astrology, nostalgia & liminal spaces. A dynamic fullbody illustration of one or more characters!Styles:
Style A -- Character(s) are posed within frame.
Style B -- Character(s) fill the majority of the canvas and some parts/features may be out of frame.Base price ($55) Includes a fullbody of one character in either style with a simple solid or patterned background. Any accessories/outfits and simple items/props will not add to the base price. Add-ons of detailed scene backgrounds, extra characters, and complex items/props will cost extra (prices below).Available add-ons:

CUSTOM CHARACTER DESIGN

Note: Character designs will not include shading/highlights.Price will be determined by complexity, features like wings, extra limbs, complex markings, and accessories may cost more.A version with a colour palette is included.Specify the following when ordering:
What kind of character design you want (species, body type, colour palettes, etc. design boards & mood boards also work).
Outfits, accessories (optional).
Pose, if you have a preference for one.
If you don't have anything specific in mind from the above list, I can also do artistic liberty designs!Other options:
Fursuit Friendly Designs: I can make your character design "fursuit friendly", just make sure to tell me & specify as many details as you want.
I can work from swatches of fur/minky/fleece from sites like Howl Fabric or Big Z Fabric.
I can make it simpler or more complex based on your preference.
Things that I tend to exclude form fursuit friendly designs: gradients, lots of small & intricate markings, oversized wings-- stuff that would be difficult to translate.

Base price ($80) includes a symmetrical front/back view of your character, colour palette, nameplate & any descriptive text.Provide existing referenceable art of the character you are getting the reference for, as well as text details you want included (name, gender, species, notes on appearance or markings, height, etc.)Available add-ons:
Headshot + $8 each (up to 4)
Chibi with outfit + $15 each (up to 3)
Side view + $15
Character detail (things such as detached tail/wing view, different horn shapes, etc.) +$3-8 each

CHARACTER DESIGN REF -- $100
A ref for a character that does not previously exist. Base price ($100) includes a symmetrical front/back view of your character, colour palette, nameplate & any descriptive text.Specify what kind of character design you want (species, body type, colours, etc. design boards & mood boards also work), as well as text details you want included (name, gender, species, notes on appearance or markings, height, etc.)Available add-ons are the same as the ones available for Basic Refs.
FURSUIT REF
A stylized and easy to translate reference of your character to be made into a fursuit. Price depends of what kind of fursuit you are getting a reference for, see below for options. All refs by default include a colour palette, nameplate & any descriptive text.Head Only -- $40

TERMS of SERVICE
Please read all of the following before ordering.Failure to follow my ToS may result in a ban from all future commissions & character sales.By commissioning me, you agree to all of the following:
general
As the artist I maintain the rights to upload/post commissioned artwork online, as well as display commissioned artwork as examples for future commissions.
Commissioners must be 18+ years of age.
I have the right to refuse any commission for whatever reason.
My Terms of Service may be subject to changes or updates, but will relatively follow the same guidelines.
payment & refunds
Prices are in USD, and payments are fulfilled through PayPal invoices (please provide your PayPal email & I will initiate the invoice), full payment is required up-front within 48 hours.
As soon as payment is received, you are given a slot at the end of the queue.
Work on your commission will not begin until it is paid for.
Regarding refunds: Full refunds are only applicable before I've begun work on the commission, partial refunds (50%) if I'm in the sketching, lining or colouring phase, and non-refundable once the work is finished. Contact me first if you want a refund.
If I feel I am unable to finish your commission, or can't finish it due to uncontrollable circumstances, you will receive a full refund.
queue & communication
I work on commissions in order as the slots were filled, though I usually work on 2 at a time.
Turnaround time is typically anywhere from 1 week to 1 month (depending on how many people are currently in the queue).
If I encounter delays of any kind that will suspend my work from progression I will post updates on Twitter and Trello.
If you want to know your place in my queue, please visit my public Trello.
I will send work in progress photos of the sketch to check if changes are necessary, after it's approved I will finish the piece and ask once more if changes need to be made. Larger changes may add an additional cost.
Communication for your commission can be conducted over Twitter, Email, Discord, or Toyhouse (commissioners choice), see my Contact & Links page to find where to reach me.
You can ask for updates on your commission at any time, just please do not rush/pester me.
usage permissions
You may post the art you commissioned anywhere you'd like online (Twitter, Tumblr, Toyhouse, Furaffinity, Instagram, etc.)! Just remember to properly credit me (werecatamount) for the artwork. I also recommend watermarking the art with your username or logo to prevent theft.
You may use your commissioned art as icons, banners, or other social media decor (as long as credit is provided), cropping, flipping, and filtering the artwork is also fine.
You may not reproduce your commissioned artwork for profit, merchandising, commercial use, etc. (This includes NFTs).
You may not use my art to train AI, or involve my artwork with AI in any way.
You may not claim the commissioned artwork as your own, or take credit for it's creation.
You may not draw-over or trace the commission (except for custom character designs, which are OK to make edits to as long as credit for the original design is still provided).
You may not use art commissioned by/for other people.
You may not edit/remove/cover watermarks or signatures from commissioned work (all commissioners are provided with a full resolution, unwatermarked version of their commissioned piece).

DESIGN TERMS of SERVICE
These ToS apply to all character designs created by me (Whether they were commissioned as a custom, purchased as a premade design (adoptable), or traded/gifted to you).Failure to follow my ToS may result in a ban from all future commissions & character sales.By owning a design made by me, you agree to all of the following AND my standard ToS:
general
Once it has been payed for, you have full ownership of the design. You can alter any aspect of the design (markings, gender, species, etc.), edits can also be made to the image (drawing over the image to change markings, add clothing, altering colours, etc.) but credit must remain in my name.
You may post the character & art anywhere you'd like online (Twitter, Tumblr, Toyhouse, Furaffinity, Instagram, etc.)! Just remember to properly credit me (werecatamount) for the original design/artwork. I also recommend watermarking the design with your username or logo to prevent theft.
The design may not be duplicated, copied, or split into other characters (no matter how many times you change it from the original design).
The design may not be made into an original species.
transfer of ownership
Once it has been paid for, you are free to resell, trade, and/or gift the design.
If it was sold to you, the design may not be resold for more than it was bought for if it does not include additional art.
If it was gifted or traded to you and has no monetary value, the design may not be sold unless additional art is added, after which it may be sold for the value of the added art.
Once ownership has been transferred to someone else (sale, trade, gifting), you no longer own the design & art, or have control over what happens to the character.
